In the morning, before the sky turned blue, the Bay was grey and silver. Shimmering. It just so happens, a free tube of "Torrit Grey" was included in my recent order of Gamblin paint. "In honor of Earth Day, we make this oil color from recycled pigments collected by our air filtration system," says Gamblin. A gift. From a great paint company. So I put it right to use recreating the light encountered on this morning's walk around the block.
