Joan Brown's "Green Bowl" welcomes you to "Wayne Thiebaud's Artist's Choice" show at SF MOMA. "Thiebaud’s own work is featured alongside paintings by others that he personally selected from SFMOMA’s collection." (Read about it HERE.) And the best part is Thiebaud's unpretentious words explaining his reason for choosing each of the paintings. He is the master of demystifying art. No mumbo jumbo. Just heartfelt admiration and sheer delight in it all. And for me, moments like these where green meets green lift me right out of the doldrums. Art inspires art.
