Gift from the Garden

Gift from the Garden
oil on Wood
12"X12"

White anemones proliferate in my garden in the Fall. When nothing else blooms. there they are, looking lovely, standing tall, requiring no care, gently swaying in the breeze, a perfect occupant for my new lavender Heath vase.
Some say European peasants carried anemones to ward off disease. Thinking of you, my friend, front and center on my mind.
