The Thiebaud Gallery is having a show of Wayne Thiebaud's "Confection Memories." Delicious. But the opening last week was so crowded and noisy I could hardly stand it. I hid in the back of the room where this shelf provided a island of complete sweetnes, beauty, and sanity. The bird on the shelf is one of Ed Musante marvelous cigar boxes.
