Morning walk with an old friend at Mill Valley Bayfront Park. Birds and geese, pickleweed, low tide and dogs. We walked and talked and reveled in memories and thanked our good fortune to be here together now.
The birds singing, plum tree blooms, Bolling Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio, my friend's poem. They all move me to tears today. Counting my blessings on the eve of my sister's birthday. We are the lucky ones. What a contrast to the ugliness and greed that grips the world.
Magnolia showing up for Valentine's Day. That outside the window and Handel's "La Resurrezione" filling the studio this afternoon has revived my dampened spirits.
Bocci by the Bay with neighbors at 1p.m. Afternoon in the studio with Yo Yo Ma and Emanuel Ax Beethoven Sonatas. A welcome respite from the woes of the world.
